  • Do I need to be home to receive a delivery of firewood?
    As long as we have access to where you would like us to stack the firewood, the customer does not need to be present for the delivery. We do ask that you communicate delivery specifications with us prior to our arrival, as well as coordinate payment prior to time of delivery.
  • Where is the best place to store firewood?
    Peck N Peck suggests storing your firewood somewhere that is easily accessible and also in an area in which the wood can be kept dry. Always ensure that your firewood does not have direct contact with water to guarantee the best possible performance from each piece of wood.
  • How do I pay for the firewood?
    Peck N Peck accepts cash or check at the time of delivery.
  • Is Peck N Peck's firewood seasoned?
    Yes, all of our firewood is seasoned for one year.
  • Can the firewood be stacked on my porch or behind my garage or shed?
    Peck N Peck prides itself on professionally stacking your firewood in requested locations. There will be a fee if our delivery drivers need to wheelbarrow or carry firewood long distances from our delivery trucks.
  • Can an order of firewood be placed for a relative or a friend as a gift?
    Yes, firewood can be ordered and delivered as gift. The customer must meet the truck at the time of delivery or prepay for the firewood in advance via check.
  • Is the firewood stacked when it is delivered?
    Our delivery and artisan stacking services will deliver your firewood in an accessible area for our trucks (i.e. front of garage, driveway, sidewall of garage etc.). If you prefer your firewood stacked in a location not accessible to our trucks, there will be an additional fee to wheelbarrow or carry the wood long distances. All of our firewood is professionally and carefully stacked to keep from falling or toppling over.   • How much firewood should I purchase?
    Peck N Peck's smallest order is 4'x4'x16". For some customers this is enough wood for a season, other customers may need multiple orders delivered in a season. Peck N Peck can help you asses your firewood needs and specifications to ensure delivery of an adequate supply based on your needs.
  • Can you back up in my yard to stack my firewood order?
    Peck N Peck's delivery trucks will not back up into any yards or landscaped areas, due to safety reasons. We can work with you on coordinating various delivery alternatives. Please call us with any delivery or stacking questions that you may have.
